North Carolina

Waco Inc. delivers full-scope mechanical services for industrial and institutional clients across North Carolina. From industrial process piping to complex industrial equipment installation and boiler specialty work, our in-house teams plan, fabricate, install, and maintain systems that meet spec, hit schedule, and run safely.

What We Do in North Carolina

Process Mechanical Piping

We engineer and install code-compliant process and utility piping for high-demand environments, chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, power, pulp & paper, municipalities, and institutions. Our crews handle carbon, stainless, and sanitary stainless systems; high-pressure steam and condensate; compressed air; chilled and hot water; CIP/SIP; nitrogen and other specialty gases. We can provide spool drawings, shop fabrication, hydro/pneumatic testing, QA documentation, and turnover packages.

Industrial Equipment Installation

As a turnkey mechanical contractor, we self-perform rigging, equipment setting, alignment, and integration. Typical scopes include boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, skids, tanks and vessels, mixers, CIP skids, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, dust collection, and process lines. We manage foundations and steel supports, precision grouting, pipe stress relief, utility tie-ins, start-up assistance, and operator training, to minimize downtime and accelerate commissioning.

Boiler Specialty (R Stamp)

Waco’s boiler team holds R Stamp acreditation for pressure vessels and repairs. Our services span code repairs, tube replacement, header/steam drum work, burner retrofits, economizers, feedwater systems, and safety upgrades. You can expect rigorous procedures, documented weld qualifications, and third-party inspections aligned with jurisdictional requirements.

  • Schedule Discipline: Detailed work packages, lift plans, and phased tie-ins to keep production running.

Typical North Carolina Applications

  • Manufacturing & Industrial: Process expansions, line relocations, utility upgrades, sanitary process transfers, and packaging lines.
  • Institutions & Public Sector: Campus steam/chilled water, central plants, lab gases, wastewater upgrades, and facility renewals.
  • Energy & Utilities: Boiler and turbine auxiliaries, cooling water, balance-of-plant piping, and emissions control systems.
